Before you start the application

Be prepared to provide the legal information of the owner, of the data of the legal representative and the justification of linkage of the alias. If your entity is not european, or european and does not have the certificate eIDAS, you must also send the Letter of Authorization (LOA) signed, in PDF, to info@sms.es.

Type of entity

SMS.es is a brand of G729 SL applications for The registration of Sender ID are processed before the Official Registration of Aliases through G729 SL as source provider.

Mandatory document for non-european

Non-european must provide a Letter of Authorization (LOA) signed to allow G729 SL to process the registration and/or management of the alias to the Official Registry Alias in Spain, acting as source provider.

Validation for european companies

For companies established in the European Union, the CNMC may send a validation request directly to the e-mail indicated during the registration. In some cases, the company may have to accept the request by using a digital certificate, european compliant with eIDAS.

If your company does not have a digital certificate compatible with eIDAS, you must provide a Letter of Authorization (LOA) signed to allow G729 SL to process the registration on behalf of the owner.

In that case, you need to send the LOA duly completed and signed, in PDF format, info@sms.es.

LOA required if you do not have the certificate eIDAS

If we do not have a digital certificate compatible with eIDAS, you will need to provide a Letter of Authorization (LOA) signed to G729 SL can handle the registration on behalf of the owner.

Send the LOA duly completed and signed, in PDF format, info@sms.es, indicating in the subject the name of the entity.

Requirements for alias SMS

The alias SMS must be between 3 and 11 characters. It may include letters, numbers, spaces and certain symbols are allowed.

Do not allow alias composed of only numbers, spaces at the beginning or at the end, consecutive spaces or characters that are not supported.

Requirements for alias RCS

The alias RCS must be between 3 and 40 characters, and must clearly identify its connection with a registered trademark, trade name, social name or official domain of the entity.

Data holder

Please indicate street, number, city, province/region, zip code, and country.
Email where you will receive the authorization request/warnings in the log. Preferably use a corporate governance associated with the official domain of the entity. Avoid personal accounts such as Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, or other similar services.
Include the international prefix (e.g. +34 600 000 000).

Alias data

Enter the Sender ID which you want to record and the information that proves your relationship with the owner.

If you request more than one alias, indíquelos separated only by using a semicolon (;).
Indicate the trademark, trade name or designation by which the alias will be recognized.
State the domain of corporate attesting to the relationship with the entity or brand.
Select the main element that justifies the relationship between the alias requested and the owner.
State the intended use of the alias: OTP, notifications, transactional alerts, marketing communications, customer service or other.
Indicate the approximate date in which you need to start using the alias.
If not specified, it is understood that the use of the alias is undefined.

Briefly explain why the alias identifies legitimately to the requesting entity. You can make reference to the trade mark, company name, web domain, use the regular or supporting documentation.
It is considered third party any company other than the owner and G729 SL intervene in the management, use or exploitation of the alias, such as CRM, agency, integrator, software or technology supplier.

Complete this section only if a company other than the owner and G729 SL is involved in the use, management or exploitation of the alias.

Enter the complete address including town, province/region, zip code, and country.
Include the international prefix (e.g. +34 600 000 000).
State briefly the role of the third party: campaign management, CRM, technical integrator, marketing agency, marketing software vendor, etc
